We will be happy to welcome you at our beautiful Mediterranean stone villa built at the beginning of the 20th century. Initially a farmhouse that contained the living area as well as an area for domestic animals, this villa underwent several renovations that have contributed to its contemporary charm and appearance. The furniture pieces that adorn the villa tell a unique story about the villa’s past, and each of them was carefully renewed and given their original splendor. The final renovation took place in 2019. when it was elegantly refurbished in art-deco style that pays respect to it’s origins but also adjusts the villa to modern contemporary time.

One of the precious jewels of Villa John lies in one of the bedrooms, where we return to past times. The story of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy and their ruler Franz Joseph is told through the original furniture from the beginning of th 20th century, that was given a new splendor.

After being forgotten for years, some of the antique furniture was repainted and refurbished to give it some of its initial glow. The renovation was done to give the pieces a function as well as a story that just needed to be told – each piece of furniture in the villa takes you to the era it was first created in, all you need to do is discover it yourself.

“The house is really big and has a garden with swimming pool and bbq, so one can enjoy the tranquility and privacy of staying in a house without having to worry about anything. There is even a Sauna inside the house, which we didn’t try but was functional and seemed great! We stayed there in winter, but in summer must be lovely! Regarding the kitchen, it was really good and well equiped with tools, like cooking tools, oven and dishwasher. The owners were really kind and flexible all the time, because we had some delaying in the arrival and the communication with them was really helpful! 100% advisable to spend some days of tranquility in there.”

“L’appartamento è veramente spazioso, ben organizzato e pulito. È presente ogni tipo di utensile.
Abbiamo trascorso una piccola vacanza rilassante tra amici. Le numerose stanze indipendenti hanno lasciato la giusta privacy a tutti. La casa è organizzata anche per i più piccoli (lettino/gradino per il lavello). Nell’ampio soggiorno c’è la televisione con netflix.
Lo spazio riservato alla piscina è confortevole, servito di sdraio, tavolone esterno al coperto, gonfiabili, giochi attrezzati per bambini e griglia.
La casa si trova a meno di 10 min di macchina da tutto (Pola centro, mare). Ha inoltre un supermercato vicinissimo (letteralmente dietro l’angolo) fornito di tutto. Consiglio di andar la mattina presto per la carne.
La proprietaria è molto attenta, puntuale e disponibile.”

“Lovely villa in a great location and the host couldn’t have done anymore for us. We checked out in the afternoon to fit in with our flights which was fantastic and very rare a host would do that for you. The facilities were very good and would definitely come back again”
